The rule of four is a way of converting fractions so that they all have the same denominator. I will outlay the steps and then provide picture steps below.

1. Draw your four lines
2. Multiply the denominators together.
3. Cross multiply the denominators to the numerators
4. Write the numbers on the lines.
5. Write out your new fractions.
