Hello My wonderful darlings!

Remember!! The Talent Show is TOMORROW at 6:00 PM! You will receive a zoom link to it and I encourage everyone to come!

Did you hear the rumor about butter?

Well I don't want to spread it around.

Math today at 10:00, do your math, you guys are awesome! I know this isn't the easiest, but you guys are doing great!

10:30 Science today: We've talked a little about physical change and chemical change. We have our experiment and the cat hasn't knocked it over, but it needs more time. Today I want to talk about molecules. What they are and a little about how they can change. Then we can do some work with surface tension.

Life skill: Cooking skills. Gordon Ramsey helps with some basic cooking skills! It's only five minutes long, and I watched it, don't worry, he doesn't swear. Watch the video, and then today help out in the kitchen. You could try cutting an onion (with your parent's help) or cooking pasta. Do not try and sharpen a knife without adult supervision.

Please listen to what he says about dull knives though. Dull knives are very dangerous and you will hurt yourself more badly with a bad knife.  A good sharp knife might cut you (badly even, I've done it, but I'm alive), but it won't hurt as much, it will heal better and be easier to fix.

Movement today: PE Jenga. If you have a Jenga set, you can play jenga like you do in PE. You will need to write activities on some of the pieces and tape them to the pieces. Then you can play Jenga, if you knock down the tower, everyone has to do sprints.

You guys have DEAR today! It's a time to read for fun. I hope that you have a good book to read to anyone or yourself. I am making a log (or you can just start one) where you will enter your reading on it. You enter the date, name of the book, and how long you read for. I thank those of you who are sending in their blogs, I always find it fun to see what you are reading.

Writing is hard to do I'm finding, but I do have a short activity for you today. I will send you a graphic organizer to use with your free write. Let's see if we can add some details to our writing. Using your story, put it into the graphic organizer, and add more details where you can.

We are on episode 7 of Liberty Kids!  I will send out a SLIGHTLY different graphic organizer in advance. We are going to watch it together. Log into the zoom chat and I will watch this with you and answer questions as we go along, like we would do in class.
