Time for a dance party!

This Friday there is NO SCHOOL. There will be no zoom meetings on Friday. There is NO SCHOOL on Monday. There will be no zoom meetings on Monday.

Math today at 10:00, do your math, you guys are awesome! After the dance party go do your math. I am appreciative of your hard work and diligence! Looking at the different groups I know you guys are in a good spot for next year. You have worked hard,  and that will pay off in the future. When you work some today, you have less to do tomorrow.

10:30 Science today: This week we will watch a video today and on Thursday do an activity. (there will be a dance party)

Materials: 

• A large potato
• A lemon/orange/lime
• an apple
• cucumber/zucchini
• Two pennies
• Two zinc-plated nails
• Three pieces of copper wire
• A very small light bulb or LED light (you can take them from electric tea lights)
• a rag or paper towels

Life skill: Cooking skills. While I do enjoy Rachel Loves Life, her shows are a little long for us, and she is kind of silly. So, let's check out Alton Brown today.

Movement today: I have for you: mindfulness.

You guys have DEAR today! It's a time to read for fun. I hope that you have a good book to read to anyone or yourself. I am making a log (or you can just start one) where you will enter your reading on it. You enter the date, name of the book, and how long you read for. I thank those of you who are sending in their blogs, I always find it fun to see what you are reading. 

Today for writing: I have grammar for you guys today! Woo! Grammar!  

We are on episode 14 of Liberty Kids!  We will use the same graphic organizer as last week. I will start the video just after 3:00 pm.
